Mk 3 Mondeo auto gears?

Does anyone know how many gears an 03/53 mondeo diesel auto has?
Do they all have the ability to change from auto to 'manual'-where you can go up or down gear with the stick instead of the car doing it all?

That should be a 5-speed Durashift transmission with manual shift or automatic selection.
