10 Answers
Our school has double yellow lines all alone the street which get totally disregarded, parents drive on the pavement and park all along the lines. The school have started putting cones out on the road now and suddenly it's deserted, would you park inbetween traffic cones, they don't bite do they?

I'm just waiting on a new phone then I will do some filming every morning and maybe youtube them, one side of the road is filled with parked cars and the road gets completely blocked so people resort to driving along the pavement to get passed, definitely need naming and shaming! Even so, the same people that drive along the pavement will still not park where the traffic cones are placed!!
I'd be very surprised if any school had time to put cones on the public road. However the council or their subcontractor may have. And jungle tom-toms being what they are, X will have warned Y that the traffic wardens will be blitzing the area on Z day(s) so they will have to stretch their legs for a while.
I reckon if you had a ramp straight into the classroom many would want to park next to the right desk.
While out walking t'other day a mum was attempting to turn right onto a main road out of a tight school gate, unrestrained child in back, while she continued talking on her mobile. What on earth.
