"resembling Knox" doesn't really do it for me. Any reason this hasn't come up before?
If I were convicted because someone "who looked a bit like me" was in the area at the time, I'd be straight in for an appeal.
Circumstantial, uncorroborated nonsense that should not be taken into account. Even if she is a liar it still does not necessarily make her a murderess and I haven't studied the case deeply enough to feel able to make a personal judgement.

Strikes me as being slightly more than just a passing resemblance, particularly as the woman caught on cctv was wearing clothing identical to Knox 's

Damn answer submitted before I'd finished typing!

The shopkeeper described seeing her early the following morning (she was seen buying cleaning fluids) and yet Knox told police she had stayed in bed late.

In fact she changed her story several times and Sollecito gave different versions still.
Where have you read that the clothing seen on the person in the video was 'identical' to that worn by Knox?
This article is over 6 weeks old and I remember looking at the video when it first came to light and frankly it was so unclear I wouldn't have a clue who it was.
Not saying she's innocent Nom, I've never been able to make my mind up and I've read a book about the case.
Question Author
I've read a number of articles on the case, going back to when it first happened.

I've had some pretty hot debates on the subject with JJ and I've yet to be convinced that Knox and Sollecito are innocent.
Yes I remember those debates NoM, in fact I was also a contributor although not to the same degree as you and JJ who is convinced of Amanda's innocence of course. I just wondered where you had read the clothes seen on the person in the video were 'identical' to what A was wearing, because it doesn't actually say that in your article.
I've not read up on it like JJ so my thoughts cannot be substantiated but for some reason no amount of acquittals will ever convince me that she didn't have some guilty part to play.

In another article reporting more or less the same thing, Ladybirder. Will try to post a link on this phone but won't hold my breath.

Indeed Prudie. Now even Sollecito appears to be trying to distance himself from her.
Even if she is a liar it still does not necessarily make her a murderess
-------------
Indeed not, but to lie in a murder case certainly makes one look complicit or involved to some degree.
