A. Learner Drivers on Motorways from Next Monday ;-D


Highway Code Addendum:- From 4 June 2018 provisional licence holders may drive on the motorway if they are accompanied by an approved driving instructor and are driving a car displaying red L plates (D plates in Wales), that’s fitted with dual controls.

Not before time,IMO. Presume if you pass Driving Test you can drive on Motorways without previous experience.

You can but are presumed competent having indicated that you are good enough to drive on A roads. A second test after would be a better plan.
