New car delivered at 13:00 by a Trade Plater. Looks gorgeous, Race Blue Metallic with Black Interior. Checked it over very carefully, it's good, so then we gave the TP a lift to a roundabout on Thanet Way so it would be easier for him to get a lift, and since we were on the Thanet Way we had a bit of a play with it, we're going to get along just fine I think.

Just had a 20-25 min drive in it, very nice, seems quicker than the one he had 12-15 months ago, I loved driving that one down to Brighton at weekends.

Yoh. I can smell that new car smell from here. Does it go like the proverbial through a goose? Glove Box contents satisfactory?

Yeh, smells great.
It will do once it's covered a mile or three.
Haven't looked yet, will let you know.
You might want to acquaint yourself with this . . .

Lucky you,I'm waiting to hear when my own motors due.Had all the paperwork from Motability and expect to get a date in the next couple of days
You mentioned a few goodies thrown in on the deal. I managed a free Winterisation kit,, F&R mats and F&R mud flaps + loading bay mat.
My Superb is Metallic Black but paid extra for that. :-(

Thanks for that Flonska, I've had a good few over the years, I'm still here, so I shall carry on regardless.
Ha,ha, you were so busy racing on the Thanet Way Baldric, that you missed us. We pottled across country today from Oare and Faversham, Graveney, Seasalter, Whitstable Castle, Tankerton slopes and back along the old Thanet Way to where we re staying near Faversham. A beautiful if blustery day.

Enjoy the new motor!

Oh God Tash. You have fallen for Baldric's cunning plan. Now you are obliged to give it the thorough valet treatment every week. :-)
Fiesta?

Well spotted Talbot, I should have said, it's an Skoda Octavia Vrs Estate, 242 bhp, 7 speed auto box + a few goodies.
Retro, he should be so lucky, I do not even do mine, he does :-)
I’ve got OH’s new car sitting outside. It’s a beast and good looking and I can’t do anything with it. I love the new car smell too.

cos your worth it. :-)
He's being very coy about the extra goodies. I am keen to know.
I have noticed the Luggage Area is fully set up to keep them safe and happy, do not know what else is standard or not, will enquire for you.
I've heard some good feedback about the Octavia. Apparently my neighbour can get 60 to the gallon (diesel) pulling a caravan to france!
I notice that both Tashi and Baldric randomly capitalise some words - strange coincidence.

Hi QoM, what's he got?

AL that's a good figure without a Caravan in Tow.

RC, the Car Park Mafia do the outsides, I do the insides.
Baldric it’s a 1.6 SRI Diesel Insignia. Only a year old. Not many miles on the clock.
