I was in Norwich on Thursday and at around 11am I noticed two people waiting on the pavement in suits, when 4 police motorbikes pulled up followed by a black estate BMW I think it was, which pulled into the layby just behind the bikes. This is in Theatre Street behind the Forum.

A couple if minutes later 4 white BMWs sweep in with blue lights on, one next to the bikes, one alongside the black car, and the other two together behind the black car. From nowhere a couple of people arrived on foot and were whisked into the black car with the suited pair who turn out to be bodyguards. Happened so quick I didnt see the people or faces. All vehicles drove away at speed and under blue light. Who were they?

Would Ed Sheeran need that much security?
I was wondering if it might be Michelle Obama on her book tour, but can't see why she'd go to Norwich. She was in London a few days ago.

Yeh, I wondered about him, but that visit was the other side of town. He might have been in the centre of Norwich too, but would he afford that level of security?

It felt more like a senior politician or royalty to be honest. But the royals usually have 4 x 4s and would never be collected in the street like that.
