Car Damage, where do I stand?
2 Answers
I live in flats with CCTV and a communal car park, owned by a housing association.
Yesterday my car was damaged, it looks like someone has opened theie car door into mine, it has put a huge dent in the car and bent the plastic trim.
My question is what do i do next and where do i stand? Do I contact the housing association (the security guard is keeping the cctv tapes for me) or my insurers or the police ?
Any help would be appreciated

Have a look at the CCTV tape in any case - if you can tell that the damage was intentional by all means contact the police.
In the meantime, you have a choice - claim through your own insurance or pay for it yourself.
