How long can a car remain stationary on the rodway?

What do you mean? If you mean parked on a road, as long as it is taxed there is no limit.

Sorry, I did mean as long as it was parked on a road with no parking restrictions.

My neigbour has had a mini parked on our road for the whole 4 years I have lived there and probably longer. He doesn't use it and I have seen it move once in 4 years.
As long as it's taxed there is no reason why it can't be parked there.

But if it hasn't moved in four years or more it can't be mot'd. Without an MOT it can't be taxed.
Maybe he had it MOT'd the time I saw him move it and maybe other times when I didn't - I wish he would move it, I live in a street of terraced houses where parking is in short supply and this flippin car takes up valuable space!
Check to see if the tax disc is current, if it is then there's nothing you can do.
You must live in a very small street if a Mini takes up too much room.
