Can you get band if you have 9 points but lose 3 before going to court?

i recently got caught speeding in nov 06 and have to apear in court in july 07, i have had 3 point removed from my licence in april 07, which now only gives me 6 points do i still stand a chance of being banned or will i only be given 3 points?

yes,you could be banned as at the time of the offence you had 9 points,it dosent work like you hoped it did im afaid.
If you can plead your case, you might get off with it, I know someone who has 12 points and is still driving as he needs his car for work! (and i've seen his license so I know he's telling the truth!)
What were your other points for?
Moral of this particular tale surely must be to slow down.
Better late than never...not just for you but for some poor unfortunate motorist who could get caught up in the carnage when you run out of road. I know thats not the answer you were looking for...sorry.
