i have a clean full uk licence for 18 years and last year i had an accident with a scooter which was carying a pillion passenger,i have now been summond to court 6 months ater the accident first happend,
q1.. is it usual to take that long from the accident to going to court ?

q2..do i pleade guilty just to get it over with and if i do what will i get as a fine and points ?

q3..will it affect my job as i have only been in this one for 4 months?

2. Do you think you were guilty? If not, don't plead guilty

3. Does your job rely on a clean driving licenc?
just to add to ethels answer if you have 3-6 the company ususually doesnt worry about it 6-12 points may cause a problem but it depends on the companies insurance if it was your first offence and youve not had problems with your employers you should be ok but you must inform them of any points no your licence
