i was driving down the road the other day, and got flashed by a speed camera on the other side of the road, but there is no white lines on my side of the road, can i still be prosicuted?

Do you know exactly what rule you broke causing you to get flashed? Were you speeding?

Be thankful it's a camera that flashed you and not a person. God forbid you might have run off the road and gotten into an accident.
Sometimes when speed camera has run out of film it will flash in either direction. I was told this by guy who services them after I got flashed - not that that worried me as I ride a motorbike with no number plate to the front.!

I've seen speed cameras go off at road works the traffic that were going through the cameras were doing about 5mph
yes you read right 5mph
gatso camera's have problems especially with flat bed lorries at speeds under 13 mph, its only when they inspect the photo evidence its clear to see and gets chucked out ..
