Hi, I am a student studying University in the UK since 2006. I got my licence in Summer (Aug) 2008 at Hong Kong, and drove my friend's car when i got back to the UK in 2009 (Jan) using an international license (not the british one). I got caught driving without insurance because i did not know i needed one, because in Hong Kong the insurance follows the car and not the person. Would i get a criminal record and what is the possible fine?
