What are the "rules" for driving though an amber traffic light at a controled crossroads when someone is waiting to turn right and cannot because of the driver shooting the lights.? If a collision had occured who would be at fault?

Definitive answer from 3 crown prosecution lawyers.......they do not prosecute any motorist for driving through an amber light. I asked three of the lawyers one a solicitor the other two barristers who work as prosecutors in Magistrates court the question about driving through light at amber. Oh yes they also said the highway code was not motoring law
