The answer is that you will not have to re-take your test. Licence revocation is only applicable to new drivers who accumulate six penalty points or more within two years of passing their first test.
Strangely, this rule does not apply to new drivers who receive disqualifications (even though disqualifications usually arise from more serious offences).
