For example, this could be like the Flaming Lips song posted here - it sounds unhappy but is in fact a celebration of life. The ultimate eulogy-pop-song (and over in 3:33 flat).

It could be a happy sounding indie-pop song which is actually about the death of a friend (or similar). Classic example, Local boy in the photograph by Stereophonics.

Brilliant Em. But it is sad and sounds sad!!
LL its is, and that's the point, the old boy was coming to the end, and it shows, but its a mesmering performance, they don't make them like him anymore.
