Any Amy Winehouse fans there?

This is my 14 year-old Granddaughter singing "Valerie" I'm not a fan of Amy, so I welcome comments please.

Yes, the strumming is far too fussy, Spotty. It's a very old fashioned "folky" kind of strumming that no guitarist would ever do today. Maybe if she used eighth notes instead of sixteenths it would sound a bit less frantic.
Singing's good though. I like the way she isn't afraid to attack the song. She'd sound great with a good accompanist.

I'm was never a fan of Amy Whitehouse or this song, but if this was my granddaughter I would be very proud of her and hope you are too.

I liked Amy Winehouse and loved this song, I thought your Granddaughter done OK, she needs to calm down on the guitar a touch.

Personally I think it was a tough act to follow singing that song, you need the Amy Winehouse voice for it.
