I just can't remember the title (and artist) of this track, the only info i can give is that the chorus (i think) contains these lyrics: 'And I guess what they say is true, I'd never (make it/go)(?) with a girl like you.' Help would be very much appreciated, cheers.

Sounds a little bit like 'Whitetown - I Could Never Be Your Woman' to me. The lyric in that goes '..and i guess what they say is true, I could never be the right kind of girl for you. I Could never be your woman..' then a trumpety bit..
