Tis a shame... Syd Barrett
I hate it when someone big in music dies. Pink Floyd were and are such a fantastic group, I have in the last few years rediscovered them. I remember growing up having to listen to my dads LP's and thinking they were strange but now older and I would like to think wiser, I now know they were/are/always will be superb. 'Wish you were here' is one of my favourite albums alongside 'Momentary lapse of reason'. What a shame they never got back together and what a shame such a legend has passed away. I so wish I was older so I would have had a chance to see them, would have been such an experience. I know some of you AB'ers have so come on share.... Wheres Andy I would imagine he has had a chance to?

Too many to list - its sad, I work with music and I just see all the 'cashing' in on it all and the people who still don't know who or what Pink Floyd are it annoys me slightly. I know not everyone has heard of everything (hmmmm) but I sometimes wonder if its lack of education from parents in the music department or ignorance. I just want to grab them and stick on Wish you were here and say right you dont have to like it but you do have to hear it.
