Back in 2000, Lonestar released two versions of their hit "Amazed", since covered of course by Westlife.

CD1 contains the title track, but CD2 contains a so called "Mainstream Mix" of the song.

Musically, how do the two versions differ?

Serial Killer song - similar to the guy in Silence of the Lambs. Think about it - quotes like
"the way you whisper in the dark" (Bet she's in the pit rubbing the lotion in...);
"the smell of your skin", "the taste of your lips" - he's skinning and eating her;
"Your hair all around me, baby you surround me" - he's wearing her skin;
"I want to spend the whole night in your eyes" - now that's just sick.

sorry - just my twisted sense of humour. That song reminds me of Silence of the Lambs as I think some of the lines match Buffalo Bill the serial killer.

I also think in Lonestar's version he sings "your chest keep getting better", but that's another story.
i just wanted to say westlife didnt cover the song 'amazed', they sang an original song called 'amazing'. it was duncan james from blue who i have heard covering the song. i think lonestar do it better. anyway, love both songs.
