Depends on your taste. Some people like the grizzled sounds of singers like Cocker, Leonard Cohen and Tom Waits. Not to everyone's taste, but we've all got our guilty pleasures. Cocker's voice has clearly deteriorated over the decades, but if you get a chance try to see him singing "With a Little Help from my Friends" at Woodstock.
Absolutely brilliant, but that's just an opinion.

As already said. Joe's voice has become a little worse for wear, but he is still brilliant.
