i am led to believe that the clash recorded a song called 'rush', but i seem to be having difficulty locating it. it was also covered by big audio dynamite in the film 'so i married an axe murderer'. did the clash write it? and where is it to be found?!

Not sure what the song is (don't think it's the Clash) but after the Clash split up guitarist Mick Jones formed Big Audio Dynamite.

The Clash did not record Rush. It was written by Mick Jones, who as AH correctly reports was a member of The Clash, and recorded by his new band Big Audio Dynamite. It features on the 1991 album The Globe which is credited to Big Audio Dynamite II.

this song has also been known as "situation no win" on some album , cant remember which one though

Not encountered Rush as situation no win but it does appear on the limited edition CD called Kool-Aid under a different title. On that CD it was called Change of Atmosphere.
