The Insider Soundtrack

I want to find music that is similar to the middle-eastern wailing sort on The Insider Soundtrack, produced by Lisa Gerrard and Pieter Bourke. Can someone tell me what its called, and who does similar music. Thanks.

Lisa Gerrard's 'day job' is as one half of the magnificent Dead Can Dance, who are an ambient 4AD band. Gerrard and Bourke also did the soundtrack to the bio-pic Ali. As for Islamic tinged stuff, Page and Plant's Unledded album of a few years back has quite a few tracks recorded in Marakesh (sp?) and which feature native musicians, but perhaps your best bet might be to log onto Real World, which is Peter Gabriel's label set up to promote music from all cultures.
