watching downloaded films on pc

i've downloaded a couple of films from bittorrent through bit comet and when i try to play them it says my realplayer hasn't got the correct software or that i just can't play that type of file. how do you do it then?

Realplayer is a pain and slow. Probably a problem with the Codec.
