music file to cd

I am having difficulty transferring music files from music folder on pc via torrentreactor site on to playable cds.
Hifi can play mp3 format, but will not play these properly.
Can anyone help please? many thanks.

If you've got a stand alone CD rewriter, you could burn to CD using the audio output from your PC direct to the rewriter.
