Why do the audience applaud and cheer at the dancers while the guest artist is singing noticed this on previous shows, time for someone to tell the audience to save their applause until the act is finished. Andrea Bocelli is class!

I think they were cheering and applauding him. As for his rendition of that song....it was awful.

No they were applauding the dancers ever time they did a lift, must say that song didn't suit him singing in English isn't his forte.

I agree 100% with you Caribeing.This happens on every show.Don't know why they bother having a guest singer-can hardly hear.

It has become learned behaviour for talent show audiences.

The interesting thing is - in almost all cases, be it singing or dancing, the audience as a whole has zero if what they are watching and hearing is actually any good or not - but they clap and whoop anyway!

Agree Andy all shows now have audiences cheering at the slightest thing special cheering on chat shows when foul language is used!
