Me and my fiance booked our wedding date with just 8 weeks to plan the day and i can't believe how well it's all gone . wedding outfits(including a full length dress, tiara and a veil which i never thought i would like), rings, venue, bridesmaid and pageboy sorted, honeymoon booked, cake and flowers all done.
with a couple of weeks to spare. :O)
I can't decide whether to have our own music during the ceremony though or the registry office's own classical music. my oh isn't fussed and any of the songs i think of either seem to corny or are too slushy and I think they make me start blubbing. :o(
ah yes i like that. I really like Canon in D by Johann Pachelbel to make entrance to. and possibly during signing. and something a bit more modern and happier at the end . like 'marry me' by bruno mars or even 'happy' by pharrell williams which me and my oh and my son all like but maybe a bit too pop and corny...
But that was in a registry office as they had both been married before. I suppose it's not suitable for a church wedding.
They had it as their going out after the ceremony, everyone's reaction was brilliant !!
i can't believe how well it's gone. and good old social media/internet . i found the perfect person to do our cake ( the only person who advertised gluten free option) and a request for recommendations for a photographer on fb came back with a winner. :) hen do was a bit of a let down but hey ho . :O/
You don't have to have classical music or emotional stuff that makes you cry. My friend had 'I'm Walking on Sunshine' by Katrina and the Waves, and that was in a Roman Catholic church. It was lovely. Everyone was laughing and bouncing to the music. Such a happy day! Good luck. :o)
