Does anyone know how to connect a laptop to a TV with a SCART connection? Can you buy a lead which will do this?

If you have such a fellow you can either use a phono to phono, buy a phono to scart adapter at Comet (or some such) or wire it yourself. Composite video in is on pins 20 & 18 on a scart connector (

S-video would appear to be the way to go for quality output.
Do a search on Google including the words 'PC video scart' and you will turn up quite a lot of info.
It then comes down to what is supplied on your laptop.

If you don't have video out on your laptop then you could use something like Trust Televiewer.
It plugs into the monitor socket of the laptop and connects to the TV using S-video, Scart or video out. Then use the Speaker/Headphone outlet on your laptop for the sound.
