cheap trip to barcelona-help!

I would like to take my other half to barcelona in april/may for a couple of nights. Anybody recommend travel companies that do this package? I dont want basic accomodation but i cant afford 5 star either. Is it cheaper to get seperate flights and book the hotel direct? How much is it in a taxi to centre of barcelona? Any tips would be appreciated. I have been before but would really like a second trip!! thanks

Why dont you book it all yourself. It will be much cheaper. We went to Madrid a few years ago with Easyjet, booked the hotel online. Easy and probably much cheaper.

I agree. Book a hotel on the internet and a cheap flight. We go everywhere that way - it works out a fraction of the price of a package.
