buying the tickets direct from wightlink got me the best deal.
Car ferry for 3 day return booked alone ios about 120 but with tickets it cost me just 55.
Mind you i do have to travel midnight thursday and back monday morn.

I think the rates for first ticket and car were 174 with each ticket 105 therafter. Obviously camping was slightly higher
did you get your travel sorted? i wouldnt leave it too late as the ferrys get very very full.

Thanks Redcrx for the reminder, were still trying to decide if we should go by car or go by train ...... keep changing our minds. I will hassle Mr Inquiry this morning and see if I can pin him down!

I am so excited about going. Are you going again this year?

Have a nice weekend. x
this will be first year Ive been. MrCrx's mum lives on island so we are staying with her (I hate camping lol)

Ive just checked ferry price for 11.30pm thursday to 10.30am monday and its now up to 131 so you might want to decide fairly soon.

Are you camping or have you got accomodation?

Were camping (boo) I am a bit of a clean freak, can't live without washing my hair every day and my straightners so I am dreading it, but Mr I loves camping so I promised i'd not moan too much. My best friend went last year and said ther was a hairdresser on site for 10 they will wash, dry and straighten your hair, so I might have to do that!
I am lucky enough to live in Reading, so have been to the festival here loads, but always had the luxury of going to sleep and wash.
Can't wait to see all the amazing bands tho, i'm dead excited.
if youre camping then It may be better to take the car so you have somewhere secure to store valuables. Plus you can get out and see a bit of the island if you want to.
We are borrowing a motorbike when we are there so that we havnt got to find parking at the site each day and we wont face the heavy traffic getting home each night.
