Glastonbury (post 2007)

It looks like I wont be able to go this year, as they kept this pre-registration thing really quiet for some reason and I totally missed out.

My question is will there be a Festival in Glastonbury come 2008? It's probably too early to say, but what are the chances? Are they going to stick with the trend of doing it every other year?

PS: We're also going to try the alternatives like V and Reading this year.

are you joking? the pre-registration was all over the news, radio, TV hence 345,000 people signing up......unless you are joking in which case ha ha

was in music mags, papers, posters in shops. I had alerts coming through on my phone every week and e-mails. So unless you're not really a big music fan then you should have seen something. I did register but not that many great bands there. Think I'll go to Isle of Wight. V has a great line up. Snow Patrol and Pink but tickets went on sale last month and are sold out.

yes i would say so. There was no glastonbury in 2006 so i would think so

V is awful, the site is such a mess, you get turfed out of the arena at midnight, there is no music past midnight.

Its a fake festival and not worth the �120 odd you get charged.

To answer your question,he only has a rest from it every five years or so, so 2008 is pretty safe as there was a rest in 2006.There are web-sites where you could check up on line-ups from previous years,to check. It's certainly on most years,sorry you missed out.(They are so mean on AB aren't they lol!)

I heard that theres gna be a glatonbury every year to at least 2010, they got sum contract or summink.
