I have a basic version of Google Earth on my PC. Are the images I see all from one moment a while ago when a satellite photo was taken of Earth? I ask that cos nothing seems to move, so it can't be a live image. Can you buy a version of Google Earth which shows live images and, if so, please can you show me a link from where I can buy this?
The images are not 'live'. The majority of the photos can be up to three years old. For examle, I zoomed in the other day on a section of my home town and a large factory that was demolished two years ago is still visible. I imagine that some of the images of really remote places could be older that three years.
