My friend who lived in Forest Hill has mentioned it to me many times as somewhere she went all the time back in the day - I'm from Ealing so hadnt heard of it - think this is going back about 20 years that she was regular down there

Yep - remember it very well - used to go there many times when younger, if not gigging myself - fun was queing up early enough to get into it, as you know it was'nt that big inside there.
Used to see the band Eighth Wonder play there in between the club dj's sets - with the beautiful Patsy Kensit on vocals - she was lovely then in the 80's and still is!!
Memories 'eh - do you remember the pub down the rd a bit from the park? - think it was the Half Moon!
