no more after this promise ! who remembers Valentine Dyall and the Man in Black ? he used to dare you to listen to the programme in the dark ? my mum was too scared to do that ! we also used to listen together to the Sat Night play and my dad used to check his football pools [ never won !] whilst we listened.

yes I do and they eventually married didnt they ? we also used to listen to Paul Temple and Dick Barton special agent !
Saville's travels and the double top ten show on a Sunday lunchtime.
If he was so good at tipping draws for the pools why he he on Radio Luxembourg every Sunday?

yes they married, they lived on the I.O.W could have been a holiday home, we were there and passed him doing his garden, a real nice chap he was, can you remember hin in the Tonight programme with Cy Grant?

Which programme was it where a spooky voice said "This is Tortonni speaking, Is Vanderleer here?" Or something like that. I also remember ITMA (It's that man again) and The Man In Black. Happy days! - well some of them.
My mum used to love Russ Conway.............
Sunday lunch time was always the smell of the roast beef and yorkshire pudds, 2 way Family Favourites at 12 noon and be getting shouted at because I had to get ready for Sunday School at 1-30
