Big splash out!
41 Answers
This coming Saturday I'm going on a spending spree with my mum. Dad and brother are on baby-sitting duties.
I can't wait as I haven't splashed out on myself for over two years now having mainly spent money on baby stuff. I buy the odd cheap bits here and there but I fancy treating myself to lots on new things. I need a new handbag (been using the same one for 3 or 4 years), shoes (been wearing the same boots for around 3 - 4 years), and a new purse (used the same one for over 5 years). Plus a few other bits like skincare stuff etc.
I'm not buying any new clothes until I reach my target weight which will hopefully be around end of May fingers x'd.
How often do you treat yourself to new clothes, bags, shoes, make-up, accessories etc?

Just about all of my handbags have been presents, as I have an unhealthy obsession with designer handbags and am too mean to buy them for myself!

I know what you mean about claustrophobia during the sales, I also hate it when the shops look like jumble sales - Next is definitely the worst for this. I'm happy to avoid the first couple of days of the sales, or get up very early if I have my eye on something specific. I'm not a great fan of shopping but I do like to get the best value I can.
Yep, chocolate and shopping for DVDs online is a disaster! Lol
I'm much like you Pixi (apart fromt he weight bit of course) and I hate shopping for clothes and bags etc., but I really feel like doing it cos I'm feeling really good at the moment and fancy some new stuff. I very rarely wear make-up and I don't have a skincare routine but I'm at the age now where I need to start looking after my skin.
I keep well away from Next when there is a big sale on Eccles. Lol
