This coming Saturday I'm going on a spending spree with my mum. Dad and brother are on baby-sitting duties.

I can't wait as I haven't splashed out on myself for over two years now having mainly spent money on baby stuff. I buy the odd cheap bits here and there but I fancy treating myself to lots on new things. I need a new handbag (been using the same one for 3 or 4 years), shoes (been wearing the same boots for around 3 - 4 years), and a new purse (used the same one for over 5 years). Plus a few other bits like skincare stuff etc.

I'm not buying any new clothes until I reach my target weight which will hopefully be around end of May fingers x'd.

How often do you treat yourself to new clothes, bags, shoes, make-up, accessories etc?

Maybe I should have put this in Shopping.

Oh well!
Personally I don't buy many of those items very often at all :)

Not even a new handbag Chucky? ;o)
Very thrifty of you Tigger baby first :-)

'(been wearing the same boots for around 3 - 4 years)' I hope no-ones about when you take them off ;-)

Good job I don't have smelly feet! lol
Have a nice day on Saturday and spoil yourself. Understand about not buying clothes till you reach your target weight. See you on our Weight loss on Wednesday with another good result.
If I need to replace something then I go and get it there and then. If I just fancy topping up my wardrobe I tend to wait until the sales as I can get either better quality or more for my pennies.

Just about all of my handbags have been presents, as I have an unhealthy obsession with designer handbags and am too mean to buy them for myself!
I try not to tiggs but I love handbags. I have to hide them from my husband and then lie and say I've had it for ages when I use a new one.
I like to treat myself ocassionly. Working in the west end, there is no end of sample sales being held and can sometimes pick up a classy bargain.

Hoping for a good result next week Wendilla, been doing loads of walking and sticking to 1400 cals a day x

I hate walking around shops when they have sales on Eccles. I get quite claustraphobic (sp). The most I've ever spent on a handbag is £30. I'm not really inot designer stuff.

I don't have many bags myself or shoes for that matter. I think I've got more DVDs than clothes, shoes and handbags put together! Lol
i'm terrible for shopping when i feel down :-(

I'm the opposite Fluffy. I can't be bothered to do anything when I'm down and chocolate is my only friend :o(
eating chocolate and shopping online = disaster

I know what you mean about claustrophobia during the sales, I also hate it when the shops look like jumble sales - Next is definitely the worst for this. I'm happy to avoid the first couple of days of the sales, or get up very early if I have my eye on something specific. I'm not a great fan of shopping but I do like to get the best value I can.
i'm glad you never put it in shopping tigger, as i would of never seen it. have a braw time shopping you deserve it.
I my self hardly ever go shopping, especially for new bag or make up
Question Author
Yep, chocolate and shopping for DVDs online is a disaster! Lol

I'm much like you Pixi (apart fromt he weight bit of course) and I hate shopping for clothes and bags etc., but I really feel like doing it cos I'm feeling really good at the moment and fancy some new stuff. I very rarely wear make-up and I don't have a skincare routine but I'm at the age now where I need to start looking after my skin.

I keep well away from Next when there is a big sale on Eccles. Lol
