Take That's reunion tour started last night and I heard there were fans camped out overnight just so they could get to the front of the gig...that's devotion for you. Have you ever went that far for a band or celebrity or have you gone a little further?? Do tell. I did camp outside a shop overnight so I could get myself Oasis tickets but that was when I was a teenager, not sure I'd do that now.

I would not go as far as the other side of the street, to watch one musician and 4 karaoke singers.
I'd rather wait for the DVD to come out....
Waited outside after a gig to meet one of my favourite rock singers....Ronnie James Dio when I was a teenager. The band knew we were waiting so we did not have to wait long. A gentleman much missed.
As a teenager many years ago I belonged to the Frankie Laine fan club- my mum ever practical sewed Frankie Laine on one side of my jumper and Johnnie Ray on the back so she didnt have to buy me two. Came the day of Frankie Laine's garden party for his fans I think it was Battersea Park and I had a ticket, as I was queueing up to get in I waved my ticket about and someone in the crowd snatched it from my hand and they wouldnt let me in ! howled all the way home !
No fear. I like my comfort too much and have never wanted to see a group so much that I would camp all night outside just to get a ticket.
The only times I have stood in a Queue for hours was to get into Anfield before they shut the Gates and locked Supporters out. Good days.
Queued for about 7 hours to get tickets for Starwars when it was due to be shown in UK for first time...never has a movie been so hyped..

Would pay a student to queue for me now.... £10 an hour and a packed meal andflask.... for a mega concert it would be worth it
used to stay at hotel near wembley and go down really early in morning to meet take that, met them loads and got phone numbers. Used to ring mark and talk to his brother daniel. Wouldnt do it now, they are just people and i feel bad i used to disrupt the owens by ringing all the time.
I've queued for hours on end in all weathers to see bands in the past. I don't think I would do it now though I like my home comforts too much.
i queued all night outside virgin records in 1979 for Led Zep tickets
