Icehockey goes the same way as Soccer

Just seen the Beeb news and the Bruins beat the Vancouver Canucks to win the Stanley Cup....
result - violence, rioting, looting and carnage in the streets of Vancouver.
Canucks are obviously the same as some of the so-called English national soccer "fans" or loons - as it it unfair to insult proper fans.
Not that their players are blameless - the video is disgraceful - not this season but symptomatic of a sport that needs more control? This incident resulted in some diplomatic and legal issues as the attacked players were American.

I don't think there's a more aggressive sport than Ice Hockey, it's renowned and often celebrated for it's on the ice punch ups.
That kind of attitude is always going to spread to the fans too but it does seem directly related. In my opinion, football violence is not directly linked to the sport, if that makes sense, I see it more as a group of fellas who want to fight looking for a reason.
