Right: before I start work...

Yes I'm still here - down but not out. I haven't slept very well since last Wednesday - those of you regulars on here will know why. I have had a lot of time to ponder on what happened & the possibly reasons why.
To the person out there who did it: I bear you no malice. Malice & bitterness are not my style. If your reasons were defence of the NHS rather than anything personal towards me, then I can almost understand what must have compelled you to do it. Public duty or something like that?(!)
However what has been most upsetting is that, having gone to the trouble to track down my place of work, why could you not have contacted me personally in the first instance? Warned me of your immense displeasure? Warned me that if I continued that you would feel bound to report me? Could you not have wrote or rang me personally? I would have listened - it would have put the wind up me enough for me to change things. Make me see how my postings looked to the outside world & taxpayers..... It is the manner in which you did it that is the worst aspect, for me.
You have won in one respect in that I will not be posting on here during work hours. But after the tremendous support & 'lurve' that has come my way on here since last week, has made me realise I will continue to be a contributor, and the way in which I am valued has gladdened my heart.
All I will say is that the Malicious Communications Act makes very interesting reading. Leave me alone now and I will leave the matter alone also. Life is too short for malice, bitterness and regret.

IMO, jj has said what a lot of us feel. We are still looking under stones, out here.... but several times over the weekend when it's been discussing, we have been exhorted to "move on, nothing new to see" - and since you are being magnanimous about it, I think we should too. You and Ed have done your stuff about it behind the scenes - we should move on.
I am only glad that you happen to have a boss who saw it for what it was, isn't a jobsworth, and is obviously on your side in all this.

Don't get me wrong - my instinct is to be bitter. But life's always easier if you go for the sweet x I won't let this 'honourable and well-meaning' person get into my heart. They've got into my stomach by making me feel very very sick about it all, and my brain for it going over & over &...... But not my heart.
Well said salla, you're better than all that and I hope you can put it behind you and carry on regardless!
Boxtops is quite right about moving on - too much looking under stones could turn this into something of a witch hunt and if you can move on then so should everyone. You've risen above it - good for you xxx

They don't deserve your forgiveness, Salla. It was a wicked, malicious and thoroughly cowardly act perpetrated by a complete and utter lowlife.
The fact that you can harbour no bitterness towards them is testament to what a lovey, genuine person you are. A far better person than I would be in your situation.

Good morning salla xxx I expect your colleagues and managers have noticed a change in you, which is not for the better. Hope you soon are restored to a good night's sleep - insomnia has made me the miserable sod I am ;o) At least you have not flounced, been suspended or banned, so carry on - please ♥
