serous fluid leaking from leg
8 Answers
hi. I accidentally rubbed a small patch of skin off my leg the other day. It came up in a small blister for a few days, which then popped. Since then, the area has been leaking serous fluid (and jolly annoying it is too) Dosen't look infected. I have been out of "hands on" nursing for some years now and just can't decide what to do with it (well that's not entirely true - i am going to have to cover it cause it keeps running down my leg into my shoe!). Anyway, it's on the same leg as the knee replacement on friday and i'm wondering if i ought to take it more seriously, or get soe jus in case antibiotics? What do you all reckon (not red, painful, pusy- just clear)
