Hi!
Daughter dropped her ipod touch 4th Gen yesterday and cracked the screen. I searched online and found this company who have just called me back. http://www.ipod-repai...co.uk/ipod-touch.html

They have quoted £82.99 to send an envelope so I can send it to them for repair, which they will then repair and send it back. Should take 5-7 days in total he said.

I would just like to hear of anyone elses experiences with this company or if it seems legit. They say they have technicians all over and one in my town but yet I have to send it off to them? Just want a bit of reassurance that this company is ok.

Many thanx :o)

I wouldn't touch them with a bargepole. Too little company information on the website, no geographical phone number, registered address, VAT number.
Which is your nearest town?

Hi hc4361, Oooo got me worried now!! The number to ring them back on is this; 01709363418 which when put into google comes back with this Comart Multivendor Maintenance
Technology House Ridge Road, Rotherham, South Yorkshire S65 1NS
p: 01709363418 f: 01709835369

The problem is when i looked online yesterday I expected to be emailed back so didn't check the website etc.. but I think this is the one I contacted as there was only one but I looked at a few websites.

I don't really want to put my nearest town but I am North Yorkshire way

Thank you for your help :o)
Does it still play - can you here the music?
Are you a bit 'handy' - you can buy replacement screens for £20 and do it yourself.

See if they can do it 'while you wait'. Might be worth a day trip to Leeds

It's absolutely fine apart from the cracked screen. I did think about fixing it myself but if I was to 'mess' up it's going to be a costly mistake. I was kind of hoping to let someone else take that risk lol but I am swaying round to the idea of giving it ago! oo 'eck! :o/

Thanx hc4361 :o)

Great!! thanx for the link, they are a bit cheaper and we aren't too far from Leeds!

Thank you :o)
Let me know how you get on, please. It is always useful to know of reliable repairers.

Hi again! Just thought I would let you know I have had an e-mail back from them and I can go in anytime and have it fixed as it takes about an hour! So excellent news! At least my daughter doesn't have to wait too long (or pay too much!) to get it fixed! I'll try to update you on how good their service is when we go :o)
Is that the one in Leeds?
Question Author
Opps sorry yeah lol :o)
I dropped and broke the screen on my iPhone. I used a company called ukipodrepairs, who offered a similar service to the one you have found.

They did a good job and did not nick my phone.

Thanx Gromit! We're gonna go with the one at Leeds as we can wait an hour for it to be done and it isn't too far away for us to travel to :o)

Just a quick update! She had it fixed this morning, took 30 mins and is now as good as new! I had emailed http://www.ipatchonline.co.uk/ a couple of times with a few questions and they were excellent and very quick with their responce. Can't fault them at all and highly recommend! :o)

Thanx again x
Thanks for the feedback - I'm glad it all worked out.
