i rememeber reading when princess diana died about a number of women who lost their livelihoods as lookalikes...because it would be considered innappropriate...
now that amy winehouse has died lots more will be in the same boat as she is one of the most mimicked singers around....
but my question is, when does it become ok again? or was the diana thing mainly because she was a royal and really just showed up to openings etc rather than performed anything?
we have lookalikes for elvis, marilyn, bing, frank sinatra, marc bolan, hendrix etc etc...how long is acceptable?
or is it still ok to be a tribute act?
cheers
