This children's(all ages) Cd features a female singer, particularly prominent on track 28-"Morningtown Ride."Her voice is so similar to that of a singer I have been trying to trace for sometime.

Does anyone have any info; that will help me??

Malvina Reynolds? She wrote and performed "Morningtown Ride" originally.
More famous for "Little Boxes".

thank you Calibax for your input but I don't think it is Malvina. I have listened to some of her work (and very nice too) - Until recently, when I researched Malvina I had thought of "little boxes as being Tom Paxton's song. The singer I'm trying to identify is a modern artist and the one I have heard sings a lot of Country&Western with a voice so like the one on the CD mentioned in my original query. There is also a faint similarity with the teenaged Dolly debuting with "Making Believe".
