Where would you look to find a Halloween Party?

I am organising a Halloween Murder Mystery Party at Shenley Cricket Centre, Hertfordshire on Friday 28 October. Looking for places to advertise it, any suggestions would be most welcomed.

Nearer the time hand out some flyers on the high street etc

Flyers in Hairdressers, Barbers, Nail Parlours, Local Gym's, antwhere young people attend. Nearer the time Local Radio.

The first rule of marketing is to know your audience. If you think about who you want to attend then it'll become clearer where to advertise.

Is it couples or groups of friends you'd imagine attending?
Roughly how old?

If the answer is 30 something women then go for a poster at the lcoal gym, in the pub, supermarket, leisure centre.

If you are looking to attract slightly older couples say, then try an article in the local paper, (middle aged people more likely to read the paper than younger people), posters in the golf club, local cafes and local shops.

Online make a connection with the "What's on" listings on your area and have a link if you can from the Cricket Centre and other local amenities.

Wow thanks everyone. That has been amazingly helpful. Did not realise what a great response I was going to get. If you think of anything else, please add it to the list. I am going to definitely action all the suggestions.
