I remember this music in a 1960's big ballad song and am trying to work out what it is.

Thx

Thx for the reply. Not AW. It was a group with a girl singer and sounded like it may have been from a movie.
Okay. I'm surprised because this is the most well known modern song bassed on Fur Elise.
I'll think again but please can you confirm that the Fur Elise tune that underlies the Andy Williams song is the right piece of classical music

Hi Factor, yup the same music. I remember hearing it on SOTS about 6 years ago and it was brought back to mind watching "Rosemary's Baby "
This is now driving me mad, too. I can hear it in my head but I can't remember who it was or what the words were. It was a female voice, a bit thin and breathy if I remember right.

I know some of the words went " Hey I saw your picture........" then the name of a year.
