I know that some of the AB members no longer believe in Santa Claus, the jolly fat guy in a red suit (some people have no fashion sense) and I feel that this is sad. So I, Santa Kittie, have decided to introduce myself to you poor souls. I am real unlike the human version of me!

My main job in life is to ensure that all the cats and kittens in the world are living in the lap of luxury and have servants that obey their every command. I also have the job of trying to ensure that all kitties in Kittie Orphanages are able to find happy homes in the year 2012 - which will be another 'Year of the Cat'.

Meowy Catmuss to one and all

Santa Kittie

PS ... if you don't tell your cat about catnip - who will?

I guess it's you then in the silent night vid (with your friends of course)...loved it, well done <smile>. Meowy Xmas to you too, good luck with your project next year for all kitties to be rehomed...I hope they (and all animals too) find new humans to treat them kindly and love them.

welcome kittie, honoured that after 3 years of membership you have finally posted a couple of questions
Well, it's definitely meowy Christmas in our house, now that Rover has come home to rejoin the other two!
is rover back then? wow great news boxy!
My dog loves cats................but he couldn't eat a whole one.
Too true boxy....no wondering where now...I was over the moon when he was found, can't tell you! (and so was OH)
I am finding it very hard to stop myself looking under hedges and across fields, having to remind myself that he's home, sleeping on the settee!
^ I've been out with men like that............
what, who sleep under bedges?!
wow what a happy ending, 7 months is a long time to be lost, I bet he is glad to have his warm bed back.
I think he is - but nobody knows how cats think, I wonder even if he remembers being away from us. He's already put back on some of the weight he lost, and he's perking up a bit :-)
good grief
I haven't been able to type for ages as the cat has been sitting on my hand...
By coincidence my border terrier has just been returned by a very nice lady who has been feeding him crackers ( later to sound like fire crackers I guess).

A girl left the gate open and he snook out to see the world.

Our relief is as nothing compared with yours boxtops but there is always that little stab of fear when a pet gets out.
He's moved over now...I hope I don't need to type numbers though.
Not sure if this will work:

At least it is only your hand ummmm. :)

Daffy, when No. 1 Son was tiny, he'd try to do that - but I don't have the embonpoint of the girl in that picture. Now he weighs 6 kilos it's a bit more difficult.....
My first ever kitten used to use her claws to climb up my entire body to sit on my shoulder when I first got her, it was bloomin' painful!
