I've googled etc but cannot find the answer.  What was the first record ever played on Radio Caroline and if poss the date,

I think it was Fire Brigade by The Move, not sure of exact date but the year was 1967

Aha JinxtheCat - you are thinking of the first record played on Radio 1 which was Flowers in the Rain by The Move - Sept 30th 1967 and spun by Tony Blackburn.

Those were the days. eh?

netibiza I put  "Radio Caroline" "First song" in Go ogle and the fourth result gave the answer.

I believe I can actually remember the first play on Radio Caroline in 1964.

Tony Blackburn was the DJ and the track was ''Flowers in the rain'' by the Move.
