Will price of vinyl come down
There seems a renewed interest in vinyl and I for one deeply regret selling tons in the mid 80s. I have a good turntable, but the price is very expensive - £20 average (a whopping £35 for John Lennon's Plastic ono Band LP!). I have heard all sorts from the price of oil to economies of scale, but apart from the 180g product, some of it is just basic vinyl.

I have all my original vinyl, around 38,000 singles and 10,000 albums and I see people all the time selling whole collections and individual items on ebay and other places. You should be able to get anything you want in the current economic climate for a decent price. Just keep searching, am sure you'll hit on the bargains eventually, and in March the Car Boot Sales will begin, vinyl heaven!
