... when I tried to push a bottle of wine back into a box of six, and broke one of the bottles ... (sad face). Those cardboard boxes are just poop at holding liquid.

But ... my wine cellar (= cupboard) is restocked, and I have firecracker prawns, and sole goujons, and duck rolls, and chicken satay, and smoked salmon, and pretzels, and samosas, and ...

Micmak's Becks is £12.99 for 24 bottles.

Ludwig's Cobra is £18.49 for 24 bottles.

Are those good prices? I have no idea.

I might have to think about it over a bottle of Sauv Blanc.

Not the one I broke, obviously.

It sounds like you have been and bought a whole lot of nibbles to have with a glass of something chilled.....my kind of shopping :-)

I love the smoked salmon from CostCo, it's so difficult to find long cut. I might head over there next week for a bit of a restock.....

That price is not bad for Becks JJ. I have had Becks at £7 for 15 bottles. (Only when it's on offer though)

Eccles, don't buy the soggy box of Montana Sauvignon Blanc ... it only contains five bottles, and some broken glass!

Well, my kind of cooking is a pile of frozen nibbles, on an oven tray, 15 mins in the oven, and some wine.

I can't be faffed with all this food preparation nonsense.
