Some people watching might have had a fit of the vapours. Isn't it better to be safe than to be sorry?

If they were offended by that one they would have keeled over with the other one I saw earlier. I'm still laughing.
if its in the dictionary, then why should it be censored ?
No

The only rule is that it must be in the dictionary. W*nkers is there so no problem.
what did they spell out?

Children or maiden aunts might be watching?
are children and maiden aunts banned from reading the dictionary ?
im a maiden aunt!
Question Author
No. Of course not. But we might want to spare their sensibilities.
It is a permanent problem that it probably impossible to solve. If you state that dictionary X is the standard then you have to accept any word it contains.
The only alternative would be to prepare a comprehensive list of unacceptable words and give this to all contestants beforehand.
I'd love to meet either a child over 5 or a maiden aunt that has not heard that word.
Personally I'm in favour of using the full vocabulary the English language has to offer, in my opinion, if you have sensibilities to certain words and insist others must object then frankly you are a w***er.
especially the maiden aunt
i've never heard that word and i think i'm offended

could someone explain the word and its usage, maybe i could judge the offensiveness :-)
Question Author
It's a word that could be used to describe someone who has an inordinate fondness for fun for one.
noun. stupid or contemptible person.
