Don't panic, spots - I remember your post where you only had £8 to last the fortnight, you must be at the end of that fortnight now? Yours is not an unusual situations - my niece has been in the same position, she had to go home after uni while she was looking for work. It's not forever - you'll find something, then you you can work your way back up to a job you like, perhaps in the city you've come to call home. It's not shameful to say you need to go home until you have some money coming in - these says I'd say it's more of the norm.
Make sure you stay in touch with your uni friends, see them when you can - if anyone's staying in the same city, they can look out for work for you. Don't be overpicky in the early days about what work you do - sadly, plenty of people with degrees these days are working wherever they can, not in what they'd really like to be doing. A job is hard to find - if one is offered to you in the current climate, do take it. Good luck to you - and i bet you won't be the only one in your year who's in the same situation.
