Underground hip hop sucks. They cant flow, their voices are annoying, They should write poetry instead of rap. Their beats are wack and all sound the same and they have elitist attitudes and act like theyre so much better than anyone who makes money off hip hop, which is a result of their insecurities and crushed dreams.
Whats wrong with Kanye f'ing West?
At least he isnt Task f'ing force or Brain f'ing Tax :)
And I dont like 50 cent, Kanye West is a nice rapper with some of the hottest beats ever, nice lyrics and a nice flow. Whats wrong with him?
I doubt youve even ever listened to any Kanye shyt. And I'd appreciate it if, in the future, you didnt post your irrelevant underground preaching in my questions. thanks rob
Suppose its how you class underground. Its normally some tagged to music by people that think its "cool" to like music thats not not in the mainstream. If you take DnB it gets hardly any airplay - but thats not really underground either. Most of the UKHH, is accesible as its signed to labels and available from your local HMV (you can even get Mc Pitman albums from there!). They're by no means pop music played on radio, but theres not just underground and pop genres. Some are closer to "pop" than others ie, Jehst and Roots Manuva
The POP charts now include airplay. Anything thats gets regular play on commercial radio and daytime radio 1 is pop. Your saying everything that doesn;t get play on commercial radio is "underground", absolutely no way is that true! I actually bought Roots Manuva and Jehst CD's from ASDA of all places - that cannot be classed as "underground"! Underground - unsigned or signed to minor independant labels.
